Every work of art, before becoming a timeless image preserved in history, was once only an idea, an invisible presence waiting to find expression through colour, form, and material.
Before Immortality explores the hidden moment before creation reaches its final form; the space between imagination and reality, between the artist’s vision and the work that eventually emerges on the canvas. This exhibition focuses not only on the finished masterpiece, but also on the journey behind it, including the exploration, uncertainty, experimentation, and discovery that transform thoughts, memories, and emotions into visual experiences. Throughout history, many works have transcended time and become part of humanity’s collective memory. Yet before reaching such permanence, each one existed in a moment of becoming, when an idea was still searching for its final form.
Before Immortality invites the viewer to look beyond the finished artwork and enter the moment before its existence, where a masterpiece has not yet been born, but its presence has already begun to emerge. Because every enduring work of art was once an unseen possibility, and every masterpiece, before becoming immortal, was once a moment of becoming.
Every masterpiece was once only an idea.
